I'm looking forward to reconnecting with new (and old) friends at this year's MAC conference in Scottsdale. Last year was a great opportunity for networking & really getting to know everyone on a personal level, outside of the typical work setting.
Seeing what everyone else in the credit union industry had been working on was a great experience for me. I truly enjoyed seeing all of the creative campaigns at last year's conference and the different ways others approached the same kind of industry challenges we're all looking to solve. With all of the changes in technology & AI, I know this year's award submissions will be just as epic.
More than anything though, I'm looking forward to enjoying the breathtaking views & nature that this resort has to offer. It's hard to have a bad time when you have a mountain view right outside your hotel window.

What I’m most excited about for MAC 2026 is our Give Back Activity, sponsored by Geaar and hosted by Copper State Credit Union and TruWest Credit Union. It just feels really true to who we are as credit union marketers and lovers of the credit union movement!
We’ll get to spend time with two local credit unions, learn more about one of their community partners, and then actually jump in and help out. Not just talk about impact, but be part of it, together. That’s the stuff that matters. And it’s the stuff you remember. At the end of the day, it’s people helping people—and I love that we’re building that into the experience.
Hilary Kissell, Director of Brand and Community Impact, Embold Credit Union
I am particularly looking forward to our unique approach to celebrating the top award-winning campaigns. While many conferences limit recognition to a standard awards ceremony, we offer something else in addition to the celebration: a dedicated session where the top candidates present their work and answer questions.
This session functions as a true masterclass in credit union marketing, featuring the best of the best. It provides a rare opportunity to move past abstract concepts and examine the tangible details—the resources used, the costs, the timelines, and the concrete results. Because the entire audience votes on the top prize after these presentations, everyone becomes fully invested in the outcome of the awards ceremony.

I’m looking forward to kicking off the week with a party right onsite at Mummy Mountain. One of the things I love most about MAC conferences is that we don’t just choose great locations, we build the experience around them.
This year, that means enjoying cocktails, great conversation, and a breathtaking Arizona sunset with incredible desert views as our backdrop. The JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa sits in a truly spectacular setting between Mummy Mountain and Camelback Mountain. The venue even features an Old West-style saloon backdrop that’s practically begging to be the setting for selfies!

I’m really looking forward to the great content planned for MAC 2026! From personal and professional development to innovative strategies and practical marketing tactics, this conference never fails to help me level up my game.
While MAC is certainly known for its great vibes, I always leave with actionable takeaways that I can put into practice. I have no doubt I’ll return from MAC 2026 with fresh ideas, new perspectives, and plenty of inspiration to bring back to my credit union.
Christin Vaughn, SVP/Chief Marketing Officer, Allegiance Credit Union
MAC is where creativity and expertise come together to create something truly unique in our industry. I’m excited to attend the sessions, learn how marketers are better connecting with and serving their members, and see ideas shared from coast to coast.
These kinds of collaborations are what help our industry live up to our mission of people helping people.
Armand Parvazi, Strategic Advisor, CUCollaborate
I’m looking forward to connecting with fellow credit union marketers to learn new strategies, exchange ideas, and build relationships with professionals from across the industry. From educational sessions and inspiring conversations to networking opportunities throughout the event, I’m excited to bring back new insights that can make a real impact.
And, of course, I can’t wait to keep the connections going at the after-party with live music at the Wasted Grain, a fun chance to unwind, celebrate, and make lasting memories with old friends and new ones alike.
